with music by Whirled Peas

The month of March is made for wishing upon lucky four leaf clovers along with listening and dancing to joyous Irish and Scottish tunes! Join us for our Celtic Tea Social, a long-time favorite in our community of dancers.

Our callers Renee Camus and Darlene Hamilton will take you through a lively afternoon celebrating all things Celtic! Filled with uplifting joyful tunes and dances, you will surely leave with a skip in your step and a smile on your face.

Back again to fill our hall with music is WHIRLED PEAS band featuring Bob Altman, Patty McCollom, and David James!

LOCATION:
~ our new venue for 2023 ~
Woman’s Club of South Pasadena
1424 Fremont Ave

(Corner of Fremont Ave. and Rollin Street)

BEGINNERS WELCOME! NO PARTNER NEEDED!
This is a wonderful event to bring friends who are new to dancing!

COSTUMES? ONLY IF YOU WISH!
Though costumes are not required, at this event many folks will dress whimsically in honor of our Celtic favorites (think Scottish and Irish). A touch of green or wearing of the plaid adds to the fun of the day.

Join us for Historical and English Country dancing.

Love Jane Austen, Bridgerton, The Gilded Age, and other historical movies and events? You will love Tuesday nights in Pasadena where we teach dances from history on into modern times. This dance style is alive and growing! It is an exciting world of upbeat dances to joyous tunes and also lovely slower moving dances to unexpected music that will surprise and delight.

We welcome beginners to come and experience what this world of balls and tea dances is all about and how much fun it is.

Costumes are not worn to our casual Tuesday night dances.
Come join us on the dance floor, make new friends, get a little exercise mid-week at our Tuesday night dances!

Arrive on time as we jump right into easy dancing.
We will have you up and happily “footing it” in no time at all.

PLEASE NOTE:
> Registration is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to our dance.<
> Proof of vaccination and masks are REQUIRED.

We will be teaching dances from the Jane Austen Evening Ball and from Jane Austen’s time all month long.
