COVID Information

Thank you for adhering to these guidelines. Your safety is our top priority!

The Historical Tea and Dance Society is continuously reviewing our COVID-19 safety protocols, and the health, safety, and well-being of our dance community remains our highest priority. Here is the COVID-19 Information you need to know:

Vaccination is not required for attendance at HTDS events.

Effective July 9, 2023, changing our requirements for public events and dance classes to be a MASK-RECOMMENDED environment. In the upcoming calendar, these events are 2nd, 4th, and 5th Tuesday night dance classes and weekend events including Tea Socials and dance workshops.

Contact tracing will be strictly adhered to during this transition period.

If the situation changes HTDS may find it necessary to re-implement our masking and.or vaccination requirements.

You should not attend an HTDS event if you have exhibited any of the following symptoms within the previous 24 hours.
  • Runny nose
  • Headache
  • Sneezing
  • Sore throat
  • Persistent cough

  • We understand that our community is divided on mask requirements. We have chosen to make masks optional,
while strongly encouraging all participants for whom it is viable to mask. KN95 masks will be freely available
during the our events. We believe that masking and testing are powerful tools for preventing viral spread, while
also understanding and respecting that people choose not to mask for many reasons including health restrictions,
comfort, breathability etc. For those who do have higher personal concern around contracting Covid, research
has shown that a well-fitting mask worn properly and continuously is extremely protective, even in situations
    in which others are unmasked.
